Building on the success of its standard GE1 model, Ergon rotated the grip area of the GE1 Evo’s by 8% towards the steering axle. This design ensures the rider’s elbows get raised outwardly for increased steering control. Advanced Inner Construction Ergon really has obsessed over every detail with these grips. In addition to the advanced compound and shape, there’s a patent-pending inner construction. This features a forged inner clamp and the inner core is connected to an integrated grip end. The reason Ergon adopted this design, was to increase the surface area for the hand right to the grip’s end, thus preventing pressure on the hand's outer nerves. This design also helps to dampen vibrations of sudden shocks and trail feedback.
